Pits, 12:00 to 15:30: 2 Hobby (a pair flew across the road just
west of the buildings near Barling Church. This was followed by a confiding bird
that sat on a post in the horse paddocks by the farm and was seen chasing off
Kestrels - see photo below), 1 Montagu's Harrier
(a cracking male was seen hunting over the grassy area just west of the new
workings at Barling Tip. It was seen earlier over Fleet Head by Ian Douch and
Lee Ebbs), 6 Little Egret, 3 Cuckoo, 6 Turtle Dove, 1
